[Hobo Brawl]

Very nice.

This game did remind me of Dad n Me, like I'm sure a lot of people have said. It was ineresting though. I really loved the ending, too true. Music was good, fighting system was good, although the combos seemed a bit more for comedy than any actual use. I found the best way to win was to just button mash, finger dancing between A and S. Some improvements would've have been to customize your bum, some unlockables, new weapons, and a random name generator for the people. Just some little things, nothing great, just interesting little bits and peices to keep the gamer a little more interested in the game, even though the game is pretty good by itself. It just seemed a little too short for me though. Add a few more levels with all the other stuff I listed above, and you got yourself a grade A fucking game my friend.

Old school.

Isn't always the best, but still good. Need some improvements to the game, powerups, new enemies, better hitboxes, little fun things that you can do (like I tried to shoot the trick-or-treater's basket thing and it still counted as if I shot him in the face, lame), just stuff like that. Fun game though.

A nice submission for the halloween shit. The graphics weren't all that amazing, but everything else was very well done. I don't get what the guy below me is bitching about with the controls, is it cause it's so overdone? Doesn't matter, the controls were very simple and I had absolutely no problems with them. The only time I actually felt like quitting the game in a bad mood, was when for some reason my guy kept being pulled to the bottom, which was very annoying. Don't know if this was a glitch or what but it faded eventually. Good game, good use some improvements but doubt you'll do so, since this is for halloween and all.

That really brought back some memories of playing all the Assassin games here on newgrounds, years ago. Very nice submission, very nostalgic.

Uhm.

Is this supposed to be like a beta or something? I played it, and when we fought, no one got hurt, and my opponent always got the power up, even if he was nowhere near it. The selection of characters is very very small, and the attacks seemed pretty .. weak. Graphics were decent, probably the only thing that was worked on it seems. I would hardly call this game a finished product, very far from finished. I'd say another month or so before it actually would be finished. Good attempt, I guess.

No it's not beta. Maybe you didn't play long enough to see a difference in health. I updated the game with like half the health because it takes so long ti kill people.

Good game.

Ending was a fucking twist. It was funny. A little on the limp-wrist side, but funny. I found a glitch in the game. When you eat the old geezer dude at the end, the fight doesn't end and you can't do anything about it but to quit and start from where you left off, and he also gives you a trashcan ability, don't know. Good game over all, but the battle system is fucked up, like one of the posts below.

As an intellectual I actually found this game to be fun. I got bored with it it was too easy. Got halfway through Christina's level, and got bored. Good concept, good for kids especially. Should have a difficulty setting though, for children and for adults.

I am convinced that number 11 does not exist. At least not on my keyboard. I literally, hit every single key on this keyboard, any of them that would produce a letter or symbol, and it would tell me I'm wrong. If you have to put in some ascii code for it, you're an ass. I literally hit, every single key on this damn keyboard. Good concept though, wasn't very hard until number 11, because well it's not that it's hard, it's just that it doesn't exist.

I agree with just about everything the guy below me said. The whole landing thing got REALLY REALLY annoying. How when you land you can't move, and the jump never seemed to be never high enough. It's not the great, in my opinion. It's kinda just a white-washed run of the mill platformer. Good effort, just try to do a little bit better next time.

Good idea and all. I like the whole 8bit look and sounds. It just got FUCKING IRRITATING when I kept getting stuck in the goddamn floors at the doors. This shit really pissed me off. I thought maybe it was a glitch at level 2, but level after level, I would get stuck in the ground and I couldn't get out, would just have to restart the whole game over again, and doing that 5 times, I just quit. I like the idea, but work on the glitches man.
